This page covers two things: this website and its waitlist, and the palette app for Mac, which is in early access. If something here is unclear, write to us at the address under Contact.

The waitlist

This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics. It loads its font from Google Fonts, so Google sees your IP address when the page loads. The company hosting the site may keep standard access logs.

The palette app

What it reads. When you open palette, it reads the text of what's under your pointer, so it can offer the right actions. It never reads a password field or any other secure field.

What's stored on your Mac.

palette's own service runs on your Mac and starts with the app.

What's sent to the AI model. To write a reply, answer a question or fill in a form, palette sends an AI model provider the text that task needs:

Which provider palette uses, and whether the model runs on a server or on your Mac, isn't settled yet. This page will name it before the app launches.

Apps you connect. Apps such as Apollo or Linear get nothing until you tap their bubble. Then they get what that one action needs, and anything they would create is shown to you before it's made.

Logs. palette's logs and error messages hold no text you wrote, no field values, no app names and no addresses.

We don't sell your data.

Changes

We'll update this page as palette changes, and change the date at the top when we do.
